Fibre optic cable of modular design or as a central fibre tube - this lightweight, small diameter cable provides the flexibility required for air blown into tubes and microtubes, air suspended with attachment to external carriers. Field-proven modular construction with dielectric power elements, rugged medium density polyethylene (MESP), high density polyethylene (HDPE) or non-combustible compound jacket is easy to handle and install, yet tough enough for heavy outdoor use. An aluminium moisture barrier can be applied to the core to further protect the cable when installed in prolonged water flooding (DPa) conditions.
