Model of female pelvis, genitals, vessels and nerves 15107-1

The model is designed to teach and demonstrate the female pelvis.The right half of the pelvic model demonstrates the division and topographic anatomy of the common iliac artery, the external and internal arteries, and the common and external iliac veins. The right sacral plexus, right sciatic nerve, and right genital nerve are also shown.

Bones and ligaments represented: two femurs, pubic symphysis, sacrum and coccyx, fifth lumbar vertebra with intervertebral disc. A midline sagittal incision through the 5th lumbar vertebra, sacrum and coccyx allows the pelvis to be split in two, exposing the "cauda equina" part of the spinal canal.

The left half of the body of the fifth lumbar vertebra can be separated. The right half of the model shows the following ligaments of the pelvis: inguinal ligament, tuberosacral ligament, sacroiliac ligament, anterior sacroiliac ligament, iliopsoas ligament, anterior longitudinal ligament, interosseous sacroiliac ligament, posterior sacroiliac ligament, posterior sacro....
