Description

The AVR-45M microprocessor-based automatic excitation regulator is designed for use as part of single-bridge thyristor and brushless excitation systems for synchronous generators and motors manufactured by Elektrosila plant of OJSC Power Machines. The main purpose of the regulator is to regulate the voltage at the bus bars of the power plant, to increase the limits of static and dynamic stability of synchronous machines, to improve the damping of oscillations in the power system. To improve reliability, the regulator is designed to operate in a redundant system. The regulator performs monitoring and interaction with the excitation system protections. The regulator equipment is housed in an aluminium case. Warranty period - 36 months from the date of shipment to the plant "Electrosila".
