Metal Housing Optical Cable Joint MPOG-MP for Efficient Optical Cable Joining

MOPG-MP couplings with metal housing are designed for direct and branching splicing of construction lengths of optical cables of OKGT type, embedded in lightning protection cables of power lines, where the function of melting ice is used. Self-supporting dielectric optical cables with armour made of aramid yarns or fibreglass bars used as branch cables can also be inserted into the couplings. The body of the coupling is completely metal. The housing is mechanically sealed by means of an elastic ring gasket and four tightening bolts fixing the housing to the headband. Up to four optical cables can be inserted into the coupling.
