The full name of the complex is the hardware-software complex "Mercury". Hardware and software complex "Mercury" (hereinafter referred to as "complex", "PAK"). is designed to create automated centralised warning systems, including local warning systems at potentially hazardous facilities, factories, industrial facilities, strategic production facilities, military-industrial complex facilities, shopping areas in order to provide notification of management bodies, officials and the public about the threat of emergencies, as well as early notification of civil defence forces.
