The melting and casting unit "UPPF-50(M)" is designed to produce ingots and castings from high-alloyed low-carbon steel grades, precision alloys, as well as non-ferrous metals, both in mass production and for the development of complex technologies in pilot production, most successfully combined with the method of investment casting.The principle of operation of vacuum induction melting is to carry out the process of alloy melting in deep vacuum or in a protective atmosphere of inert gases on a solid charge. The melting unit consisting of the inductor and crucible is located in a vacuum melting chamber, where a vacuum of the required degree is created with the help of special vacuum pumps. If necessary, an inert gas atmosphere can be created in the melting chamber.
