Description
Magnesium fluoride for thin layer optics, TU 2621-038-48591565-2014 is granules 1-10 mm or white tablets (12-25*5-15 mm), or targets 75 mm or 101.6 mm in diameter and 5-8 mm in height with density 2.9-3.1 g/cm3. Insoluble in water. Soluble in a mixture of perchloric and boric acids on boiling.Chemical formula MgF2.
Recommended evaporation temperature 1300-1600 C. Purpose and scope of application: as a starting material for manufacturing thin-layer optical coatings by thermal and electron-beam evaporation in vacuum. Product packing is carried out according to GOST 3885.
