The OMEGA 2 rappelling device with lifting function is an element of the safety system for work at height. It is designed for rescue and evacuation of victims when working at height. The integrated winch allows the victim to be lifted in order to loosen the cushioning and shock-absorbing system that stops the victim from falling. To facilitate this operation, the device is equipped with a folding handle, an adapter for using a screwdriver, and a manual rope locking mechanism to prevent unintentional descent. A cordless screwdriver or drill can be used as the drive. The design of the device allows several repeated descents when it is necessary to evacuate several people in a row.
