Lower Limb and Torso Orthopedic Device (Orthosis) for Enhanced Mobility

An apparatus for the lower limbs and trunk, fixing, unloading. The thigh, shin, foot shoe and corset/semi-corset sleeves are made of thermoplastic plastic; laminated plastic on the basis of laminating resin (the type of materials used depends on the individual characteristics of the patient), taking into account the anatomical and functional features of the patient. The sleeves are connected to each other and to the corset/semi-corset by special joints.

Knee and hip joints with locking mechanism; without it, ankle joints with movement; without movement in the sagital plane (depending on the medical indications for a particular patient). For medical indications, the device is made with a module for hip extension; additional joints in the area of hip joints. The apparatus is made with fastening elements that ensure reliable fixation of the product on the patient.

The device is made according to an individual mould of the patient.
