Light One-Row Disc Harrow Demetra Series LD Model LD-17 for Soil Preparation

Battery disc harrow light single row (disc harrow) LD Demetra® (Patent for Invention No. 2756406) is designed for surface tillage to a depth of 10 cm, stubble husking after harvesting grain crops, as well as for soil treatment after ploughing as a single-row disc harrow when cutting layers and crushing clumps. The working bodies of the harrow are spherical discs with cut-outs assembled in a battery.

Each battery is mounted on two racks with inclination to the vertical. The upper part of the rack is shaped, closed with a shaped cover, and elastomers are located in the corners of the formed quadrilateral. The presence of elastomers reduces shock loads on the bearings and allows the disc battery to bypass insurmountable obstacles.

Differences of the LD harrow compared to double row disc harrows with discs on an individual stand: <ul> <li>- Battery harrows are easier to set up and maintain the implement and contain fewer bearing units.</li> <li>The discs are arranged in a single row, which doubles the working width of the implement for the same tractor power. Correspondingly, the productivity of the machine will be doubled.</li> </ul>.
