IBP series maintenance-free lead-acid batteries, manufactured using AGM technology, are designed for use in uninterruptible power supplies, emergency lighting, security and fire systems, portable and hand-held appliances. Thanks to AGM technology, the batteries do not require distillate topping up throughout their lifetime as the electrolyte is absorbed in a glass fibre separator. This battery series is designed to operate in constant recharge (buffer mode) or discharge-charge (cyclic mode). It has low internal resistance and self-discharge.
