Study of design and principle of operation of heat exchangers of plate, shell and tube, "tube in tube" and air cooler; determination of viscosity and heat capacity of liquid at different temperatures. List of works to be carried out on the training stand:
- Studying the design schemes of heat exchange apparatuses
- Measurement of flow rates and temperatures of hot and cold coolants at the inlet and outlet of heat-exchange apparatuses.
- Determination of heat transfer coefficients in recuperative heat exchangers at different modes of heat carrier flow.
- Investigation of the influence of thermophysical properties of the cooling medium on the heat exchange processes.
- Study of the air heat exchanger design.
- Testing of air heat exchanger to determine the heat transfer coefficient and heat load.
