Study of rectification process on a batch plate column. List of work to be carried out on the training bench:
- Study of simple distillation process at atmospheric pressure.
- Studying the process of rectification of ethyl alcohol on a batch unit
- Familiarisation with the construction of a plate distillation column.
- Determination of phlegm number
- Determination of the number of theoretical plates
- Drawing up the heat balance of a deflegmator
- Study of rectification of a multicomponent mixture in a plate column
- Determination of the amount of heat removed by vapour condensation
