Laboratory Condensation Study Unit (TOT-KD) for Understanding Condensation Processes

Study of condensation process on a single smooth, finned tube and a bundle of smooth horizontal tubes. List of work to be carried out on the training bench:

• - Study of condensation process on a single smooth pipe.
• Determination of heat transfer coefficient for condensation of water vapour on a smooth single pipe.
• Study of condensation process on a single finned tube.
• Determination of heat transfer coefficient at condensation of water vapour on finned single tube.
• Determination of heat transfer coefficient at condensation of water vapour in a tube-in-tube apparatus.
• Comparison of heat transfer coefficients at condensation of water vapour in the apparatus of type "pipe in pipe" with smooth and finned surface.
• Study of condensation process on a bundle of smooth horizontal tubes with visual observation of the process.
