K-850-23.5-R Steam Turbine for Efficient Power Generation and Industrial Applications

Five-cylinder condensing steam turbines with intermediate superheating of steam and six exhausts into two longitudinal condensers. Long experience of operation of the turbines since 1972 in variable load regimes testifies to the unique reliability and manoeuvrability of the turbines. At the customer's request, additional unregulated steam extraction for the plant's auxiliary needs can be provided from the turbine's regenerative extraction. High indicators of efficiency and reliability of steam turbines are ensured by: -aerodynamic experimental tests of blades confirming their reliability and efficiency; -smooth meridial flow paths; -checks of the blade design by CFD methods; -three-dimensional profiling of guide vanes -Optimisation of vapour inlets, withdrawals and exhausts by CFD methods; -new advanced seal designs; -introduction of modern progressive design methods, technologies and equipment.
