The analyser calculates the content of the analyte to be determined by analysing RGB codes obtained after processing the reflected light image of the reagent zones of the test strips and comparing them with the calibration values stored in the analyser's memory.
The method of determination is semi-quantitative. The accuracy of the determination is set by the accuracy of the "dry chemistry" method, a semi-quantitative method based on the colour change of the strip in contact with biological fluid (urine.
