The NIM742 module is designed for software implementation of MODBUS RTU server or client, for use as an additional serial port for software implementation of exchange protocols, for communication with NMEA satellite receiver for accurate synchronisation of system time, for communication via modems for dial-up and leased lines, as well as GSM-modems using the CSD protocol or for sending and receiving SMS, as a serial port for DNP3-L2 protocol service Outstation CPM712-01 and CPM713-01, to connect to the system devices with RS-232C interface.
