Insulation Damage Locator IPI-95 for Identifying Pipeline Issues

The equipment ???-95 is designed to locate the places of damage to the insulation of metal pipelines without opening the ground and to determine the route and depth of the pipelines.

If tapping points (unauthorised connection to the pipeline) are accompanied by insulation damage, they are detected as locations with damaged insulation.

The equipment can use the current of cathodic protection stations as an input signal.

The equipment receiver has two inputs, allowing one operator to search for a trace and inspect insulation at the same time. The receiver's built-in audible indicator allows the operator to put on headphones only when needed, reducing fatigue during long periods of work.

In the generator for ease of adjustment there is an adjustment of the frequency of repetition of signal pulses to the rhythm of the operator's movement.
