Installation for electrothermal elongation of reinforcement bars SMZh-129.03 is designed for elongation of hot-rolled reinforcement of periodic profile, used in the production of prestressed reinforced concrete products at precast concrete plants.

To ensure trouble-free and long-lasting operation of the plant, daily and periodic inspections must be carried out so that minor faults can be rectified in good time.

The SMZh-129.03 unit consists of three sections: The first section contains the input automatic unit, power transformer, electric fan, thyristor contactor, panel with electrical equipment, control panel, air preparation unit, electric-pneumatic distributors, fixed rod clamping unit.

The second section has racks with intermediate supports for the heated rods.
