The torso has all the anatomical landmarks necessary for auscultation training of the infant's heart tones and lung sounds.
There is a network of transducers under the skin of the chest and back that are not visible from the outside. When the stethoscope is applied to certain places on the chest and back, if the stethoscope is correctly localised, the corresponding sounds can be heard. The blue dots on the back and chest - the locations of the stethoscope - can be removed to make the task more difficult for the students. If the point is correctly located, the student will hear the appropriate sounds; if the point of application of the stethoscope is incorrectly located, no sounds will be heard. With the help of a remote control (virtual stethoscope) it is possible to change the sounds.
