Some features of the design
Three-phase asynchronous electric motors with squirrel cage rotor (ATD) are used as traction motors.
The ATDs are powered by adjustable static voltage and frequency converters.
The electric locomotive provides normal operation on 35‰ elevations with the appropriate train weight. The electric locomotive is equipped with two central and two side current collectors.
