The tractor is equipped with a YAMZ-236D engine, hydraulic system units, rear linkage mechanism with the main cylinder, two remote hydraulic cylinders. In combination with bulldozer and mounted equipment it is intended for earth-moving and transport works in industrial and hydraulic engineering construction, mining, forestry, land reclamation, irrigation and other types of works on soils of I-III category - without preliminary loosening.

It is used on poorly bearing soils in swampy areas. It has a track link width of 670 mm.
