Imitation Walking Device "Imitron" for Rehabilitation of Lower Limb Paralysis

Imitron walking simulator is designed for rehabilitation of patients with paresis or paralysis of the lower limbs (paraplegia), by performing complex exercises in the vertical position.The patient, actively moving the upper limbs, moves the supports of adynamic lower limbs, and thus, being in the vertical position, complexly puts the body in motion - imitates walking.Indications:-hemi-, tri- and tetraparesis after diseases or injuries of the brain or spinal cord;-paralysis and paresis of the legs;- cerebral palsy and other movement disorders in children;-strokes.Contraindications:-acute infectious diseases;-early period of myocardial infarction and stroke;-severe somatic manifestations of tumour process.The simulator is intended for use in rehabilitation departments of medical institutions, as well as for home use. Exercises should take place in the presence of trained personnel capable of assisting the patient if necessary.
