Ice and Wind Load Telemetry System for Power Lines - Real-Time Measurement

The system of telemetry of ice-wind loads on overhead power lines (overhead lines) is designed for automatic, continuous, real-time measurement of external and internal influences on overhead lines. The system performs remote monitoring of overhead lines for control of ice and wind loads, when the incoming information from the STGN-PK control posts to the dispatcher's office is sufficient, timely and accurate for assessment of meteorological loads on overhead lines and decision-making on measures to combat ice and frost deposits on wires (lightning rods) overhead lines.
