Description
The model includes all 206 - 214 bones of a healthy male: 24 vertebrae, 12 ribs on each side, 26 bones of each leg and 27 bones of each arm are individualised and easily assembled. The skeleton has a hyoid bone. Special U-shaped brackets allow the arm and leg ligaments to slide realistically inside the joints. In the elbows on both sides, natural movement of the radius and ulna is possible: when the hand is turned, the radius and ulna stand in crossed and parallel positions. The model has features: a deformity in the coccyx, an impacted third molar in the skull and a sparse intertemporal bone between the occipital and parietal bones.
