Horizontal Screw Decanter Centrifuge 731K-10 for Efficient Dewatering

The continuous centrifuge with auger discharge of dewatered sludge consists of a cylindrical and conical drum with an auger inside, which is given additional speed through a gearbox and a separate drive to discharge the sludge from the drum. The drum is rotated by a separate drive in a speed range of 1500-2780 rpm. When the product is fed into the centrifuge, the centrifugal force generated by the rotating rotor (up to 3200G) causes the finest suspended particles from the fed product to settle on the drum walls, from where they are transported by a screw towards the conical section for additional dewatering and discharge. The liquid phase is drained out of the centrifuge rotor by gravity through adjustable overflow windows.
