Horizontal Planetary-Cylindrical Reducer R40 for Lifting Applications

Reducer P40 (analogue of German 2317-13CX) is designed for the lifting mechanism installed on the trolley of a German crane with load capacity Q=180 t, working in metallurgical production. The reducer is designed as a planetary-cylindrical reducer including 4 cylindrical stages and 2-stage planetary mechanism.

When driven by two electric motors with equal angular speed, the differential gear ratio Upl=1 (with a total gear ratio U=124.5).

When driven by one electric motor (in case of failure of the other one), the differential gear ratio Upl=2 (total U=249).
