Special horizontal honing machine is designed for high-quality and high-performance machining of deep holes. Mechanisms and devices of the machine provide the following processing scheme: <ul> <li>- the tool performs rotary, translational movement and advancement of bars, the workpiece is stationary;</li> <li>the tool performs rotary, translational motion and advancement of bars, the workpiece performs rotary motion in the opposite direction.</li> </ul>Rotation of the tool, workpiece and working feeds are carried out by electric motors with remote control, which is carried out from the main console. The machine is equipped with CNC device, which provides control of honing headstock movement and honing technological process. The design of the machine is built on a modular principle, allowing on a single base to create equipment of different purposes and complexity.
