High-Speed Interface Module KIC551 for PCI Express and Gigabit Ethernet Applications

The KIC551 interface module (for convective-cooled systems) is a high-speed programmable switch for PCI Express and Gigabit Ethernet interfaces and is designed to transfer packets between peripheral slots and an external device. The KIC551 is designed to provide customers with an integrated solution in a CPCI Serial 3U form factor for real-time, production control, high-speed data acquisition and processing applications. The KIC551 is a continuation of the line of CPCI 3U modules produced by DOLOMANT NPF CJSC.

The KIC551RC interface module with conductive cooler is designed on the basis of KIC551 and is used for building high-performance, high-reliability special-purpose systems. To dissipate heat from the KIC551RC, a specially designed heat sink cassette is provided in accordance with the CompactPCI Serial Mesh Backplane specification, PICMG 2.20 R 1.0.
