GUARD Access Control System Controller (Model Net) for Secure Entry Management

Controller GUARD (mod. Net) is designed for use in access control and management systems (ACS) and provides control of one access point (point of passage). The controller supports operation in network mode only.

Filling of key banks is performed over the network using an external control programme. In addition to entering cards in the network mode, you can read events, set the current time in the controller, and configure time zones for passage for each card. To realise the network mode the controller is equipped with two independent RS-485 interfaces.

The presence of two RS-485 lines, one of which is galvanically isolated, allows splitting the communication line into independent sections. In this case, it is easier to detect a damaged section of the network, and all sections of the network up to the damaged one continue to function normally. Configuration and firmware update of the controller can be carried out when connected to a computer via USB.
