Monolit M cement is biocompatible with hard tooth tissues, non-toxic, has high tensile strength, compression, high wear resistance. to strengthen adhesion it is required to dry the surfaces of metal and hard tooth tissues, avoiding over drying of the tooth. Glass ionomer cement should not be applied to dentin in close proximity to or isolated from the pulp.
