Geoscan 801 Unmanned Aerial System for Precision Mapping and Surveying

The Geoscan 801 unmanned aerial system includes an unmanned aircraft and a remote control unit with a 7-inch high-resolution touch screen display. The software embedded in the remote control allows to build a flight task performed in automatic and semi-automatic modes. The unmanned aircraft, which is part of the complex, is designed to perform aerial reconnaissance and surveillance in real time. To fulfil its tasks, it is equipped with two 12 MP video cameras providing 12x hybrid zoom and a 640x512 resolution thermal imager. A reliable communication system allows video broadcasting at a distance of up to 10 kilometres, including in urban environments.
