Centrifugal smoke pump of single-sided suction with radially ending sheet blades. It is designed for suction of gases from the furnace of oil-gas boiler units and other installations with effective filters. The smoke pump structurally consists of a guide apparatus necessary for regulating the operating parameters, a spiral casing, an impeller, which serves to transfer energy to the flow from the drive motor and a running gear. In the process of medium movement in the impeller, the flow is dynamically influenced by the blades and is involved in rotational motion. This results in a change in the momentum of the transported medium and an increase in its potential and kinetic energy. The increase in flow energy is expressed as an increase in static and dynamic pressure.
