Functional-Cosmetic Prosthesis PR8-AK.1 for Above-Elbow Amputation - Daily Use

Designed to ensure the actions of disabled people (according to the level of amputation) for self-care in the home and public places, as well as to compensate for a cosmetic defect.

The prosthesis must consist of an artificial hand (cosmetic or mechanical), cosmetic sheath (if necessary), wrist assembly, elbow-forearm assembly, shoulder joint, shoulder pad, shoulder sleeve, form-forming cosmetic cladding and flesh-coloured cladding cover (if necessary), individual prosthesis fixation elements. The use of an artificial hand (cosmetic or mechanical), cosmetic sheath, and wrist assembly is performed in the same way as for a cosmetic or active shoulder prosthesis (depending on the type of hand). Shoulder pad and shoulder sleeve are made of laminated plastic on the basis of binding resins or thermoplastics, according to plaster positives, taking into account individual features of the user's residual limb.
