Front axle with brakes 320305-3000012 serves to connect the right and left wheels of the axle, takes the forces acting on them from the road, and through the suspension transmits them to the load-bearing system. The axle consists of a forged steel beam of I-beam cross-section, steel steering knuckles hinged together by means of pins, which provide the possibility of turning the steering wheels to change the direction of movement. Front wheel hubs are hinged on the steering knuckles, providing their rotation relative to the axis of the bearing units. Disc brakes with brake chambers are mounted on the steering knuckles. On the axle mounted steering trapezoid, consisting of a transverse steering rod and two levers, articulated with each other, and the levers themselves are mounted on the knuckles.
