Free-Fall Lifeboat for Quick Evacuation - Project 01612

Free-fall dinghy of closed type, designed for quick evacuation of people. Safety of people at the moment of docking is provided by preliminary fixation of rescued people in special chairs-layers of shock-proof construction. The hull and life-support systems of the lifeboat can withstand the impact of open flames, and the safety of passengers is ensured in accordance with the requirements of RMRS.

The design provides reliable self-righting in the event of capsize and has positive buoyancy when fully loaded. Buoyancy is provided by lightweight filling of the interhull space of the dinghy. Passenger capacity is 16 persons.

The dinghy is certified by RMRS. It is placed on the carrier on a special launching device (LDS).
