A fire tanker truck AC 3,0-40 (43502) VL is designed for extinguishing forest fires and is used for delivery to the place of fire of firefighting personnel, fire extinguishing agents (3 tonnes of water, 180 litres of foaming agent), fire-fighting equipment and special equipment. The tanker truck has a device for filling backpack forest fire extinguishers RLO-M and connection of high-pressure fire-fighting units UVD 10,0-50,0 VL. To increase manoeuvrability and reliability of work in the forest, the tanker trucks are equipped with removable side and rear safety arches, reinforced protection of the fuel tank and engine sump.
