Description

The RA2-H4 fibre optic amplifier based on the forced Raman scattering effect (RA2-H4) is a product of the GORIZONT optical transport platform. GORIZONT equipment is used in the unified telecommunication network of the Russian Federation as a transceiver for digital fibre-optic transmission lines. GORIZONT equipment supports the technology of dense spectral channel densification (DWDM) and protocols of optical transport networks OTN. HEU based on the RA2-H4 effect is designed to amplify optical DWDM-signal coming to the terminal equipment from the side of the fibre-optic communication line (FOCL).
