Fiber Optic Communication Cable SL-OKMB-01 for Reliable Data Transmission

Cable is designed for use as a field, in-situ, installation, on-board optical cable. It is prepared for use with standard connectors attached to wire armour. The design of SL-OKMB optical cable implies the possibility of use in the manufacture of high-temperature optical fibres, if the target operation is related to such needs.

In order that the cable can function at temperatures normal for high-temperature fibres, high-temperature polymer sheaths (fluoroplastic) are used in manufacturing. The use of bend-resistant optical fibre, G657 standard, in the cable allows minimising bending losses. The main difference of the design from analogues is the absence of a modular tube.

The fibres are located directly in the centre of the GOST 3062 rope. The free space is filled with intramodular hydrophobic compound.
