FATO Zone Boundary Lights for Safe Landing and Takeoff Guidance

Parallel (sequential) powered all-round lights are intended for light marking and visual identification of the final approach and take-off phase (FATO zone). The size and configuration of the zones are defined in FAP 69 "Requirements for landing areas located on land or water area" and the document "ICAO Annex 14 Volume II "Helicopters"". The characteristics of the lights comply with the requirements of paragraph 5.3.6 and paragraph 5.3.8 of ICAO Annex 14 Volume II.
