Description

The device provides external fixation of the pelvic bones and hip joint with a dosed amplitude of movement in the sagital plane, and if necessary is used for the stage development of contractures of the hip joint. It consists of tibia, femur and rigid half-corset sleeves connected by hinges of various modifications. It is manufactured by vacuum moulding of thermoplastics; by lamination of carbon and textile materials, prepregs, thermosetting composite materials.
