Explosion-Proof Switching Module MKV2 for Electrical Power Distribution

Modules of switching explosion-proof type MKV2, are designed for distribution of electric energy and protection of power and lighting electrical networks of alternating and direct current electrical installations of chemical, gas, oil and other industries.Explosion-proof modules consist of switching compartment and input-output compartment. In the switching compartment there are circuit breakers, switching on and off of which is performed by a handle located on the outer side of the shell. Modules of MKV2 type have input and output boxes.

Cable glands of modules provide input, sealing of openly laid cables of round shape. Modules of MKV type allow the possibility of flexible or armoured cable with diameter from 10 mm to 22 mm for modules with current up to 32 A, with diameter from 18 mm to 29 mm for modules with current up to 63 A. The contact terminals of the modules allow the input of flexible or armoured cable with diameter from 10 mm to 22 mm.

Contact terminals of modules allow connection of cables with cross-section from 6 sq. mm to 16 sq. mm.
