The wagon is designed for:
-accompanying trains for transporting switches or track machines;
- providing living conditions for service personnel during the train movement;
- operation as part of the existing fleet of freight wagons, as well as in coupling with the existing units of special rolling stock, on electrified and non-electrified sections of railways of 1520 mm gauge.
Wagon tare weight is not more than 48.5 tonnes;
Body external width without corrugations - 3105 (+3;-7) mm;
Wagon length along the coupling axes of couplers - (17286±20) mm;
Design speed - 120 km/h;
Guaranteed service life of the wagon is 24 months from the date of commissioning, but not more than 30 months from the date of shipment to the customer.
Assigned service life before writing off the wagon body is 28 years.
