Enlarged model of bony labyrinth of inner ear, 17205

The model represents one part of the inner ear, the bony labyrinth, which is divided into three parts:
- middle or central, called the vestibule (vestibulum);
- the cochlea;
- the posterior part, which includes the three semicircular canals (canales semicirculares).
The model is enlarged 15 times. The model can be easily removed from the stand for easy demonstration.
The model is colour and numerically coded:
1. Anterior semicircular canal.
2. Lateral semicircular canal.
3. Posterior or frontal semicircular canal.
4. The auditory nerve.
5. Vestibular nerve.
The cochlear whorls:
6. Apex nerve.
7. Median.
8. Basic.
The model is made of PVC, fixed on a stand. Overall dimensions 20x13x19cm.
