Energy storage system for operation in traction power supply system

Energy storage module based on lithium-ion cells manufactured by Liotech-Innovations LLC using block-modular buildings for operation in the traction power supply system ordered by Rusenergosbyt LLC for operation at the facilities of Russian Railways.

The Electricity Storage System (ESS) is designed to add power to the traction power supply network for electric rolling stock on energy-deficient sections of the railway.

6.Main parameters and technical requirements.

The block-modular building with engineering systems has overall dimensions of 6 × 3.2 m (hereinafter referred to as BMP).
The battery bank has a modular structure in order to reduce the time of replacement of failed equipment and installation operations, as well as in order to realise one-sided maintenance of racks.
