Electrostatic precipitators are electrostatic dust collectors.
The field of application of electrostatic precipitators is purification of gases coming from technological units of large capacity in metallurgical, mining, construction industry, coal heat and power engineering, etc.
Electrostatic precipitators are designed for operation in different macroclimatic regions and are manufactured in different climatic designs. For areas of high seismicity special enclosures are developed. In areas with moderate climate ESPs are usually placed in the open air, and if it is necessary to protect them from atmospheric precipitation - under a canopy.
Main parameters of ESPs operation:
- productivity at gas velocity of 1 m/s from 40.0 to 1500.0 thousand m³/hour;
- degree of gas purification up to 99,98%;
- hydraulic resistance ?0,2 kPa.
