Description
1. Purpose: Actuators are designed for remote and local control of shut-off valves (part-turn ball valves), as well as for signalling to the control panel about the valve gate position.
2. Description: The actuator provides repositioning of the valve gate at remote and local control.
Structurally, the actuator consists of the following elements mounted on a single frame:
- hydraulic actuator with a rocker arm swing mechanism;
- electro-hydraulic control system;
- pump unit;
- pneumohydraulic piston accumulator or hydraulic accumulator station (hydraulic accumulators + receivers);
- manual pump;
- working fluid tank.
The actuators function from the pressure energy of the working fluid:
- accumulated in the accumulator tank;
- created by the pump unit;
- generated by the hand pump - double-acting pump.
