Electric Fire Safety Device EOS-98P-1 for Enhanced Lifeboat Safety

Electric fire of the rescue vehicle EOSS-98P-1 AR01.003-98 TU (hereinafter referred to as "fire") is designed for collective rescue vehicles (inflatable rafts, lifeboats and duty boats) as an external signal fire. The fire serves for effective search of collective rescue vehicles. The fire complies with the requirements of Chapter 6.1, clauses 6.8.3.3, 6.8.3.4 of Part II of the "Regulations for the Equipment of Sea Vessels" 2020, Chapter III of SOLAS-74 as amended; clauses I/1.2 and II/2.3.4 of Part II.

I/1.2 and II/2.2.3 of the LSA Code as amended by IMO Resolution MSC.207(81); requirements of the Technical Regulations on the Safety of Maritime Transport Facilities. The product has been tested in accordance with the recommendations of Resolution MSC.81(70) as amended by IMO Resolutions MSC.200(80), MSC.226(82), MSC.323(89). In terms of climatic conditions of operation, the fire satisfies the requirements of the RS for apparatus used in open spaces (clause 6.1, Part II "Lifesaving appliances", of the RS Regulations).
