Elastic Energy Absorbing Device APE-120-I.500 Class T3 for Enhanced Energy Absorption

Elastomeric absorbing apparatus APE-120-I.500, class T3 - elastomeric absorbing apparatus with increased energy capacity of class T3 with nominal energy capacity not less than 140 kJ. Viscoelastic silicone composition is used as a working body in the apparatus. By its operational and technical characteristics the device, according to the accepted classification, is designed for effective protection of the structure of wagons and cargoes transported by them from the action of longitudinal loads arising from collision of wagons during shunting operations, on marshalling yards and transient modes of train running. In accordance with the requirements of GOST R 54749-2011, the APE-120-I.500 apparatus is equipped with all gas and chemical tanks, wagons carrying especially dangerous goods of classes 1, 2, 6, 7 according to GOST 19433, as well as shunting locomotives.
