Description
matratratz 2 local Art. M. 03.
Spring blocks are made of steel high-carbon spring wire. It is a block consisting of biconical five coil springs, which are connected with each other by a spiral of wire d. 1.4 mm and bound around the perimeter by a rigid edging frame.
The orthopedic effect of such mattresses is achieved due to the stiffness of the springs, which depends on the diameter of the wire (2.2 mm), the diameter of the springs themselves and the number of springs per square metre. Heat-treated pressed felt is attached to the spring block by means of staples. Soft polyurethane (PPU) foam or latex is used as a filler.
The outer sides of the mattress are covered with a quilted fabric consisting of syntepon, spandbond and fabrics. The edges are sewn together by means of a cantha.
